This Para 3 packs all the time-tested features and functionality of Spyderco’s iconic Para Military™ 2 into a smaller, easier-to-carry format. Its 3″ blade is precision machined from premium Micro-Melt Maxamet and features a full-flat grind for superior edge geometry and low-friction cutting performance. Its oversized Trademark Round Hole is easily accessible from either side to allow swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. The blade is supported by a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism nested within the handle’s textured G10 scales. Its easy-to-clean, open-backed handle construction reduces the knife’s weight, while providing a solid platform for a four-position hourglass clip that supports left and right-side tip-up or tip-down carry. Carpenter Technology Corporation developed Micro-Melt Maxamet specifically for use in the rollers of their state-of-the-art steel rolling mills.
